We hope you will choose to be a contributor with your financial donations, time and talents.

All donations are recognized on CRT Website, our Donor Board, and in Playbills at your level of giving.

Your generosity is deeply appreciated!

Please contact your tax professional for guidance on your particular tax implications.

  • CASH DONATION: This can be a one-time donation, or be set-up as a recurring donation, for a 100% fully tax-deductible donation. Write a check and send to 1167 Main Street, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019; or use your credit card on the Website using the GIVE TODAY button.

  • MATCHING GIFT: Many employers will match or even triple your tax-deductible charitable contribution. Ask your Human Resources Department to see if you qualify.

  • TRIBUTE GIFT: Honor the memory of a friend or family member, mark a milestone birthday, holiday, anniversary, or life achievement with a fully tax-deductible donation memorial or tribute gift to Coastal Rep.

  • PURCHASE GALA EVENING SEATS, TABLES OR A GALA SPONSORSHIP: Receive a tax-deduction, donor recognition at the event and in the December Playbill — and enjoy an entertaining evening!

  • GIFT OF APPRECIATED SECURITIES: Giving appreciated securities—stocks, bonds and mutual funds—is a meaningful way for you to donate to Coastal Rep and to support the future of live theatre on the Coast. Donating stock is a great way to give AND receive. You can avoid the capital gains tax on the appreciated amount of the donated stock, and Coastal Rep gains a donation for the full fair market value — even if the cost basis of the stock was initially much lower. Making gifts of securities is easy! You can transfer most gifts of stocks electronically from your brokerage account to the CRT brokerage account.

  • IRA CHARITABLE ROLLOVER: The IRA Charitable Rollover allows taxpayers age 70½ or older to transfer up to $100,000 annually from IRA accounts directly to charity with-out first having to recognize the distribution as income.

  • BEQUESTS AND PLANNED GIVING: A bequest is a gift from your estate—a transfer of cash, securities, or other property made through your estate plans. You can make a bequest to Coastal Rep by including language in your will or living trust leaving a portion of your estate to the theatre, or by designating CRT as a beneficiary of your retirement account. Let us know of your intention, and receive donor recognition now.

  • LIFE INSURANCE: The most tax-effective way to donate life insurance is to transfer the policy so that the charity becomes the owner and beneficiary. You are entitled to an immediate charitable deduction for income tax purposes. If you continue to pay the premiums, each payment is also a deductible charitable donation.

  • IN-KIND CONTRIBUTION: Instead of giving money to buy needed goods and services, you can donate the goods and services themselves — and generally a donor may deduct an in-kind donation as a charitable contribution. A donor must obtain a written acknowledgment from the charity to substantiate the gift, although the acknowledgment will generally not assign a dollar value to the donation, as the donor is responsible for assigning a value to the gift.

  • AMAZON SMILE AND IGIVE: When you shop at Amazon Smile or iGive, let them know you support CRT and a percentage of your sale will directly to us.
