Our Educators

SABINA PERLSWEIG

CRKT Program Manager

Sabina Perlsweig has been teaching theatre and music in the Bay Area for over a decade. She has taught for Coastal Rep's education program since 2013, first as a musical director and now as a director. She is trained in both musical theater and classical voice, as well as piano and jazz/classical saxophone. She studied music at UC Berkeley, where she was a member of both the University of California Marching Band and the University Chorus. Outside of her work in the theater, she enjoys working as a private vocal, piano, and saxophone instructor, as well as serving as the Director for The Coastside Chorale.

JESSICA NORDBY

Choreographer and Dance Teacher

Jessica considers herself to be extremely fortunate to have attended performance arts magnet public schools, and is passionate about sharing her love of music and dance with students at Coastal Rep. Growing up with music, dance, and theatre in her life was pivotal in shaping her creativity and confidence. Jessica spent a decade working in adolescent mental health, which, while rewarding, took her away from the world of theatre for many years. After a seventeen-year hiatus from performing, Jessica found Coastal Rep, where she has performed as the Lady of the Lake in Monty Python’s Spamalot and as Dorothy in Christmas in Oz (and hasn’t left the theatre since!). Helping CRKT’s students find their confidence through dance and movement has been incredibly rewarding and inspiring.
