Get ready for one of the most entertaining treats of the year! You will be amazed and delighted as you witness magic and illusions from two of America’s top-flight professionals, David Regal and Whit “Pop” Hayden, brought here direct from the Magic Castle. And, as if that weren’t enough, let’s add as a special guest, the celebrated puppeteer, Bob Hartman!

Meet the Performers
David Regal is a writer and magician. He is the author of the critically acclaimed book Approaching Magic, in addition to the best-selling Close-up & Personal, Constant Fooling (Volumes 1 and 2), and was the subject of Star Quality – The Magic of David Regal written by Harry Lorayne. An alumnus of the Main Company of the comedy group Chicago City Limits, Regal is a television writer who has written for shows ranging from Rugrats to Everybody Loves Raymond. He has performed at the Magic Castle hundreds of times, where he was named a trustee, and is a two-time recipient of the “Lecturer of the Year” award from the Academy of Magical Arts. Tricks of his design are performed around the world.
Whit “Pop” Haydn is the winner of six “Performer of the Year” awards from the Magic Castle, the Hollywood clubhouse of the Academy of Magical Arts. In February 2006, he also became Vice-President of that organization, and served for four years in that capacity.
He has opened for Jerry Seinfeld, the Smothers Brothers, Loretta Lynn and others, and performed on cruise ships of many different lines, including Cunard Line‘s Queen Elizabeth 2, and the Diamond Princess. Haydn has worked hotels and casinos including Caesars Tahoe, and was one of the first acts chosen in 1996 to open Caesar’s Magical Empire in Las Vegas.
Bob Hartman was raised in Oregon, graduated in Field Biology from Uni Cal Santa Barbara, and is self- taught in Art, Theatre and Puppetry. Considered exceptional as a puppeteer, Hartman was invited to represent United States puppetry in the International Puppet Festival in Washington, DC. He also won an international award (UNIMA) for excellence in puppetry.
Bob Hartman has appeared in theaters and festivals around the world and on TV here and abroad including Thames TV, BBC, the Disney Channel and National PBS.
